But for now forget tomorrow and have a go at this little tutorial for a hanging bird, which you could stuff with lavender to smell really lovely!

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS - 2 Turtle Doves

Top - Topshop, Shirt - Johnnie B, Jumper - M&S, Skirt - River Island, Boots - Topshop, Bag - Topshop

This outfit was based around the top which reminded me of the turtle doves (just as there were two birds!) This is a layered outfit I would wear when it's colder and on warmer days I would just wear the outfit minus the jumper.

Hope you are all well.

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS - 3 French Hens

Going along the lines of '3 french hens', here are a couple of French style inspired outfits, that can be worn on an everyday, causal basis.

Coat - Vintage, Bag - Topshop, Scarf - Vintage, Jeans - New Look, Shoes - Topshop, Watch - Lorus, ,Bracelet - Laura Ashley

Dress - Johnnie B, Shirt - Vintage

The coat I have absolutely fell in love with and I can't stop wearing it! I recently bought the bag and bracelet in the sales, so I have been experimenting and trying them out with different pieces and I'm sure I'll be using them lots this year!

Hope you are all well.

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS - 4 Calling Birds

Hi guys!

When I was thinking of a sewing tutorial for '4 calling birds', 'calling' reminded me of a project I tried from a magazine. It was to make a felt owl that was used as a phone case. The cases were quick and easy to make and that year I made one for all my friends and family, in an array of colours! Here's what a few of them looked like...
If you want to have a go at these phone holders visit Inspirations Magazine and you can purchase the magazine it was in (issue 66). There are many other projects inside it too for you to try, from embroidery to other sewing related projects.

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS - 5 Gold Rings

Hi guys!

Only 5 days left of the 12 days of Christmas - then Christmas is really over!
So today, for '5 gold rings' I thought I would post some of my favourite jewellery to wear, including necklaces, earrings and some rings.

Gold Necklace - New Look, Chain Necklace - Topshop, Heart Earrings - Accessorize

Out of all my jewellery, I love to wear necklaces more. Either a large statement necklace or smaller ones layered up, worn with a shirt or plain top. I tend to wear bracelets less as they're always in the way when writing or drawing!

What's your favourite piece of jewellery to wear?

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS - 6 Geese are Laying

Happy new year!

Today's video is how to make felt egg cosies - which are very cute!

You will need:
Felt (in a choice of colours)
Embroidery thread ( in a choice of colours)
Pins and a needle
Tailors chalk
Fabric Scissors

You don't have to put a flower or a heart on nor use the colours I have. You could use sequins or beads for embellishment - make it your own!
